These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and any services arranged through it. By using this website or engaging Chaiya Watch Repair & Restoration for a service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms. 1. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:

- Chaiya Watch Repair & Restoration, located at 91 Wualai Road, Haiya, Chiang Mai 50100, Thailand.
- "You" / "Client"
- Any individual or party accessing our website or engaging us for a service.
- "Services"
- Watch repair, servicing, and restoration work carried out by Chaiya, including but not limited to Case & Bracelet Polish, Full Service, and Full Restoration.
- "Website"
- The website operated at chaiya.sbs and all associated pages.
- "Agreement"
- These Terms & Conditions together with any service quotation or written instruction accepted between us.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or submitting a watch to us for service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site or our services.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are arranging a service on behalf of another party, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
3. Services
We offer professional watch repair, servicing, and restoration. Our current services include:
Case & Bracelet Polish — ฿4,600
Cosmetic refresh for watches in working order. Includes case and bracelet polish, crystal and gasket attention. Typically 1–2 weeks.
Full Service — ฿9,500
Complete mechanical movement service, cleaning, lubrication, and regulation. Approximately 3 weeks.
Full Restoration — ฿14,400
Comprehensive overhaul and case restoration for vintage or cherished timepieces. 5–8 weeks. Steps discussed with you throughout.
Prices and service availability may be subject to change. Confirmed prices are those stated in your written quotation. Services are performed at our workshop in Chiang Mai.
4. Client Responsibilities
When submitting a watch or making an enquiry, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the watch and any known faults or history
- Confirm that you are the rightful owner of the watch, or have authority from the owner to submit it for service
- Respond to communications in a timely manner when we need your input during a service
- Collect or arrange collection of your watch promptly upon notification of completion
- Use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner respectful to other visitors
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photographs, design elements, and layout — is owned by or licensed to Chaiya Watch Repair & Restoration. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt any part of it without our written consent.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence does not include any right to scrape, copy, or systematically download content.
6. Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due upon collection of the watch unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to retain the watch until full payment is received.
- Quotations: We will provide a written estimate before work begins. Any significant additional work identified will be communicated to you for approval before proceeding.
- Deposits: A deposit may be requested for full restoration work. This will be stated clearly in the quotation.
- Cancellation: If you choose not to proceed after a service has begun, reasonable costs for work completed may be charged.
- Uncollected watches: Watches not collected within 60 days of completion notice may incur storage fees. We will contact you before any such fees apply.
7. Service-Specific Terms
The following additional terms apply to watch repair and restoration services:

Timelines: Estimated completion times are given in good faith. Older or more complex watches may require additional time. We will keep you informed of any meaningful delays.

Parts: Where original parts are unavailable, we will discuss suitable alternatives with you before proceeding. We do not fit parts without your awareness.

Vintage and fragile watches: Work on antique or fragile timepieces carries inherent risk beyond our control. We will always advise you honestly before undertaking such work.

Confidentiality: Photographs or documentation of your watch taken during service are used solely for quality records and client communication. They are not shared publicly without your consent.
8. Disclaimers
This website and its contents are provided for informational purposes. While we aim to keep information accurate and current, we make no representations about completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
Watch repair involves skilled assessment of individual timepieces, and outcomes depend on the condition of each watch. We do not make representations about specific results, and pre-existing conditions may affect what is achievable.
Nothing on this website constitutes professional horological advice specific to your watch without a prior assessment.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with a service shall not exceed the amount paid for that service.
We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of enjoyment.
We shall not be held responsible for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, supply disruptions, or public health situations.
10. Termination
Either party may withdraw from a service arrangement before work has commenced, with reasonable notice. Once work has begun, we will discuss the fairest way to conclude the arrangement.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service in exceptional circumstances, such as where a watch is suspected to be misappropriated or where a client's conduct has been inappropriate.
11. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
We prefer to resolve any concern informally and in good faith. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us first at [email protected] and we will do our best to reach a fair resolution.
If an informal resolution is not reached within a reasonable period, both parties may pursue formal legal remedies as provided under applicable Thai law, including relevant consumer protection provisions under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522.
12. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These terms, together with any accepted service quotation, constitute the full agreement between us.

Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Waiver: A failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services following any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For ongoing service arrangements, material changes will be communicated to you directly before they take effect.
